BIO
Serazhym Oleksandr (b. 1984, Kyiv) – a Ukrainian photographic artist who lives and works in Kyiv. Despite earning two higher education degrees unrelated to the arts, photography remained his true passion, eventually becoming his primary creative pursuit. Oleksandr studied at the Kyiv School of Photography (Ukraine) and Form Photo Academy (France), which laid the foundation for his approach to capturing urban spaces.
His work revolves around architecture, texture, and color. Through photography, he seeks the extraordinary in the ordinary and explores the limits of human perception. Using color as a primary tool, Oleksandr reinterprets familiar urban landscapes, revealing hidden stories and new meanings to the viewer.
His artistic style is defined by experiments with light, shadows, and color, which influence the perception of space and form.
